愛知県：91歳高齢男性 有料道路逆走し正面衝突

2017年5月10日午前5時50分ごろに、愛知県知立市牛田町六反の衣浦豊田道路で、91歳男性が運転する軽自動車が下り線を逆走し、下り線を走行していた別の軽自動車と正面衝突する事故が発生しました。逆走したとみられる91歳の男性は、病院に搬送されるも死亡が確認され、軽乗用車を運転していた46歳の女性は軽傷だったということです。

◇ 標識を見落とした可能性がある

愛知県警によると、インターチェンジ（以下、IC）から約150メートル離れた地点で事故が起きたとされており、ICには係員はおらず、降り口には進入禁止の標識も立てられていました。

県警は、男性が標識を見落とし誤って進入した可能性があるとみて、事故の経緯などを詳しく調べていく方針です。
